3. Appointments and referrals

Capital Neurosurgery is a specialist practice. A valid referral from your general practitioner or treating specialist is required before an appointment can be made.

Cancellations and non-attendance
We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
Failure to attend without notice may also result in a fee being charged.
Cancellation fees are not claimable through Medicare or private health insurance.

4. Fees and payments

Capital Neurosurgery is a private specialist practice. Consultation and procedure fees are set in accordance with the Australian Medical Association (AMA) schedule.

For an estimate of likely out-of-pocket costs, please contact our rooms before your appointment. Medicare rebates apply to most consultations. Patients with appropriate private health insurance may be eligible for additional rebates.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, videos, and logos — is owned by Capital Neurosurgery or its licensors. You may print or download material for personal, non-commercial use only.
